The mission of the Palaung Youth Network Group, (PYNG) is to develop the skill of the Palaung youth and to improve their knowledge and political awareness through training, news dissemination and the publication of accurate information, independent of events at home and aboard.
WHAT IS PYNG?
PYNG is a group of young Palaung people in exile collecting the news from the Palaung area enlightening to the world about the Palaung people what is happening in the region through to the mass media.
It is a group of young Palaung people, and it is to organize the young people for building the community to be developed and to become a peaceful society.
In addition, to find the opportunities for young people to further education and getting international accession for standing peaceful lives.
Moreover, we collect news, information and then inform the international community that what is happening in the Palaung region through to the mass media.

The Palaung Women’s Organization (PWO)
“PWO believes that recognizing women rights and women participation in different level of political and social tasks is one of the processes of building a just society”
PWO is an organization to empower and advance the social status of Palaung women towards equality, peace and just society.
Objectives:
To develop the status of Palaung women.
To maintain the literacy and culture of Palaung people.
To participate in the democracy, peace and human rights movement for
To advance and promote gender equality and women’s rights by co-operating with other women’s organizations.
Organizational Profile:
The Palaung Women’s Organization (PWO) was established in 2000 in response to the dearth of women actively participating within other Palaung organizations. Cultural factors determined that men had greater access to training, better English language and computer skills, greater self-confidence and more leadership opportunities.
PWO was formed with the intention of educating and empowering women so that they could develop and strengthen their own self-determination and achieve equality of participation.
PWO provides gender and human rights training to Palaung women and their communities; increases international and community knowledge of the Palaung people, their history and cultures; and raises awareness of the human rights abuses suffered by the Palaung people.
